Jamie Singleton has been a dedicated professional in the early childhood field since 2001, answering her calling as a program director early in her career. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Jamie brings a personal and profound understanding of the challenges families with special needs face, inspired by her own experiences as the child of a parent with disabilities. This perspective has shaped her steadfast advocacy for creating supportive, inclusive early childhood environments and interventions.

Since joining The Learning Pavilion (TLP) over a decade ago, Jamie has led with passion and purpose. As Executive Director, she oversees strategic planning, financial management, and operational efficiency, ensuring TLP continues to excel as a leader in early childhood education. Her expertise in curriculum development, staff training, and community partnerships has driven increased enrollment, enhanced program outcomes, and successful accreditations.

Beyond administration, Jamie remains actively involved in the daily life of TLP. She can often be found assisting teaching staff with curriculum implementation, coordinating family-focused events like Spirit Week, managing re-accreditation processes, and representing TLP at community events.

With over 20 years of experience, Jamie’s commitment to shaping inclusive, high-quality learning environments is unwavering. She strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.

Family Services Coordinator

Tania Himes is the glue that keeps TLP running smoothly and joyfully! Originally from West Virginia, Tania has over 20 years of experience nurturing young learners and supporting families. Since moving to Florida in 2017, she has become an essential part of TLP’s community.

With her National CDA and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Tania brings both expertise and heart to her role as Family Services & Enrollment Coordinator. She’s not just an administrator; she’s often in the classrooms, leading sensory art projects, or even dancing with the kids. Tania’s favorite part of her job? Supporting Smart-play activities that make every child’s day a discovery adventure.

Outside of TLP, Tania is a proud mom to three busy daughters and a loving wife to her husband, Ellis, who frequently helps out around the center. Her passion for early learning, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm, makes her a mentor, cheerleader, and advocate for everyone in the TLP family.
